Russian proverbs

My Russian tutor and I read some of Aesop's fable today.  Here are some proverbs which the Russian translator helpfully added:

There is no truth in flattery

The bitter truth is better than the flattery of an enemy.

Flattery and revenge are friends.

There is honey on the tongue and ice in the heart.
